What is a letterform design?

Letterform design is taking letters and symbols and using them to create different shapes and images only using those letters.

What was your job as a designer?

My job as the designer was to create images using those letters that went well together and matched the criteria while also stepping out of the box.

What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

Some of the challenges I faced during this project were actually thinking of the image to create, where to place each letter so it balanced and what color should go where.

Do you feel you successfully completed the project? Why or why not?

I feel like I successfully completed this project because I used my own designs and really reflected what I was thinking into each design. I also tried equally hard on each.

If you can change something about the project what would it be and why?

One thing I would change was only being able to use 3 fonts. I felt like it limited you to only doing certain things. I feel like 5 fonts would have been easier. For example, for my symbol design none of the fonts I used really had the symbol I wanted to use so I had to change it.
